Andrea Padilla-Rosas joined Clarkson College in 2023 as the Director of the Financial Aid & Scholarships Department. In this position, she oversees all scholarships, grants, and federal financial aid. Prior to joining Clarkson, Ms. Padilla-Rosas worked at Metropolitan Community College as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid Campus Operations. Ms. Padilla-Rosas served as the director of a college preparatory program for low-income and/or first-generation college-bound students, AIM TRiO Upward Bound, at Omaha Bryan High School prior to her role at Metropolitan Community College.

Ms. Padilla-Rosas is originally from Chowchilla, California, a small farming community in Central California where her dad was an almond farm laborer for nearly 40 years while her mom worked in the home. With the assistance of federal financial aid, grants and scholarships, Ms. Padilla-Rosas earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), and obtained a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from the College of Saint Mary.

Ms. Padilla-Rosas moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 2007. She and her husband have two dogs: a Shiba Inu named Lincoln (Link) and Kahlua, a Pekingese and Shih Tzu mix. They reside in the Benson-Dundee area.

Ms. Padilla-Rosas sits on the board of Anastasis Theatre Co., is a Women’s Fund of Omaha Circles Class 9 alumna, and a sustainer member of the Junior League of Omaha.
