Dr. Settelmeyer says that she is "blessed to provide care to rural patients and help prepare the next generation of providers." She joined the Clarkson Graduate Nursing department in December, 2022, as one of two Graduate Nursing Clinical Administrators. In this role she oversees clinical NP education and assures regulatory compliance with student credentials and health metrics. She is also an instructor within the program.
Dr. Settelmeyer earned her ADN and RN license in 1983 from Lane Community College in Eugene, OR, and earned a BS in Health Ed/Public Health at Oregon State University, a Masters in Healthcare Administration at Minnesota State Moorhead, a BSN at the College of St. Scholastica, and a DNP at the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND. Over her 40 years of nursing, Dr. Settelmeyer has served in a variety of bedside, care coordination, teaching and leadership positions. She currently is an FNP at the CHI clinic in Williston, ND.
