Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. This commitment to excellence has and always will remain a defining quality of Clarkson College.

Professional DevelopmentI received my Bachelor of Nursing in 1998 and Master of Science in Anesthesia in 2010. As a CRNA, I have proudly practiced in all settings and practice models enjoying independent practice and the business of anesthesia. As the terminal degree for Nurse Anesthesiology has changed, I felt it important to be equal to my peers. After completing my Doctor of Nursing Practice, the world of academia opened. I am excited to be part of Omaha's successful Clarkson College Nurse Anesthesia Program since 2024. My family of 6 enjoys golfing, snowboarding and backyard movies with s'mores in Papillion.
