Jacquie Stanzel, DNP, MSN, APRN-NP, FNP-C is an instructor in the Graduate Nursing programs at Clarkson College. She joined the College community in 2015. She earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Nursing from Nebraska Methodist College.
Dr. Stanzel is a member of the Valley Volunteer Suburban Fire and Rescue Department, a member of the Valley Historical Society ,and Vice President of the Valley Days Committee.
Along with teaching at the College, Dr. Stanzel works as an advanced care practitioner for Doc's Who Care assisting in coverage of Emergency Rooms, clinics, and inpatient in rural hospitals across Nebraska and Iowa. She also has her own She has clinical experience in cardiovascular progressive care, emergency and med-surg units. She is currently a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), American Academy of Nurse Practititoners (AANP), Nebraska Nurses Association (NNA), and Nebraska Nurse Practitioners (NNP) .

Never be afraid of failure, for no matter how big or small, we often learn more from our failures than we do our successes. Health care changes daily, therefore we are continuously learning, and we need to be adaptable. Develop cultural competence for it is not our job to judge, but our duty to provide compassion and care in times of an individual's own health crisis.
