Jeri List was appointed Director of General Education in 2022. She is responsible for managing general education courses at the College along with the A.S. in General Studies and B.S. in Psychology degree programs.
Ms. List joined the Clarkson College community in 2010 as an instructor for Human Physiology and during her time at the College has earned the rank of Associate Professor. In 2014 she was awarded the Dr. Patricia Book Perry Faculty of the Year award and received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the College in 2014 and 2018. Prior to her career in higher education, Ms. List spent seven years as a 7th grade science teacher in the local community. She has a love and passion for science education and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Omaha Stem Ecosystem (OSE).
Her educational history includes a Bachelor of Science in Education with an endorsement in Secondary Education Natural Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction with an Instructional Technology Emphasis from Peru State College, and a Master of Science in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Medical Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Florida.
Ms. List and her husband Matt have three children and actively volunteer with their extracurricular activities.
