Jeri List serves as the Director of General Education and Health Sciences. She is responsible for managing general education courses at the College along with the A.S. in General Studies, B.S. in Community Health, and B.S. in Psychology degree programs.

Ms. List joined the Clarkson College community in 2010 as an instructor for human physiology and during her time at the College has earned the rank of Associate Professor. In 2014 she was awarded the Dr. Patricia Book Perry Faculty of the Year award and received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the College in 2014 and 2018. She was appointed to Director in 2022. Prior to her career at Clarkson College, Ms. List spent seven years as a 7th grade science teacher and two years as an adjunct instructor for Concordia University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with an endorsement in natural sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction and minor in instructional technology from Peru State College, and a master’s degree in medical physiology and pharmacology from the University of Florida. She has a love and passion for science education and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Omaha Stem Ecosystem (OSE).
