Jessica Niemann is the Director and an Instructor for the Clarkson College Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. She is a proud alumna of Clarkson College and graduated with her Associate’s degree in PTA in 1999 and Bachelor of Science in Health Care Services degree in 2016. She received her Master's degree in Education for Curriculum and Instruction at Concordia University in 2019.
Before joining the PTA program as an instructor in summer 2015, Ms. Niemann worked at Creighton University Medical Center in the outpatient and inpatient physical therapy settings as a PTA for 15 years. She also served as the Education Coordinator of the physical therapy department during the latter eight years. She is a current member as well as a Certified Physical Therapy Clinical Educator through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and a member of the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association (NPTA).
Ms. Niemann is originally from western Nebraska. Outside of the College, she enjoys being with her husband and two daughters playing games, going hiking, swimming, baking cookies, or going for walks.
