Dr. Wissink has been a practicing physical therapist since 2005 of in-patient and out-patient areas. She is a Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) BIG certified clinician as well as a Hawkgrips level 1 certified clinician. Dr. Wissink also holds certificates as a Kinesiology Taping Practitioner and Advanced Kinesiology Taping Practitioner. She is certified practitioner in Functional Dry Needling. Dr. Wissink is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Nebraska Physical Therapy Association (NPTA). Dr. Wissink is an active member on a variety of Clarkson College committees including Interprofessional Education, the Advisory Board for the PTA department, Faculty Senate and Orientation Day Workgroup, to name a few.
Dr. Jessica Wissink became an instructor in the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Psychology from the University of Kansas as well as a Master’s certificate in Health Services Administration from Creighton University. In 2005, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University.
