Dr. Jessica Wissink became an instructor in the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Psychology from the University of Kansas as well as a Master’s certificate in Health Services Administration from Creighton University. In 2005, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University.
Dr. Wissink has been a practicing physical therapist for more than ten years in a variety of in-patient and out-patient areas. She is a Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) BIG certified clinician as well as a Hawkgrips level 1 certified clinician. Dr. Wissink also holds certificates as a Kinesiology Taping Practitioner and Advanced Kinesiology Taping Practitioner. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Nebraska Physical Therapy Association (NPTA).
At Clarkson College, Dr. Wissink serves on the Advisory Board for the PTA department and is a recent nominee of the Faulty Senate Excellence in Teaching Award.
