Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. Justin Avery, MBA, M.S., has been an adjunct faculty member at Clarkson College since 2014. He earned Bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Master’s degrees in Business Administration – Finance and Business Administration - Healthcare from Bellevue University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Along with teaching in the Healthcare Business and General Education programs, Mr. Avery is a Configuration Analyst at Lincoln Financial Group in Omaha, Neb. He teaches courses in project management, corporate finance and scholarly writing at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He also serves as an advisor for graduate students during completion of their capstone project.
