Katherine Fuller, MSN, RN, joined Clarkson College as a faculty member in 2011. She began her career in high school as a CNA at a local nursing home. After a few months of working with patients, she knew that nursing would be her profession. Throughout nursing school, she continued working as a CNA at the nursing home in her hometown during breaks and weekends, and worked as a CNA at a clinic during the week. After graduating with her BSN, she worked as a nurse on an inpatient medical/surgical unit and also as a nurse at a home healthcare agency, performing admissions and triaging phone calls.

Drawn to Clarkson College because she earned her BSN there, she felt that her education had thoroughly prepared her to pass boards and succeed as a new nurse. She later earned her MSN from Clarkson College, discovering her passion for precepting student nurses and new nurses. She is now a doctoral candidate at Clarkson College and is excited to earn her third degree from the institution.

In her free time, she volunteers with Restoring Dignity, a non-profit organization that helps refugees in Omaha. She is also involved with the parent teacher association at her daughters' school, assisting with class events and fundraising activities. Additionally, she is a member of the Nebraska League of Nursing.
