Dr. Kathryn Onorato has worked in the field of higher education for over 12 years. Throughout her career in higher education, she has served in student affairs leadership roles and taught in-person and online courses related to integrative health and wellness and leadership. She has participated in many service and grant opportunities, research, and scholarship.
Dr. Onorato received her Doctor of Education in 2022. Her qualitative phenomenological research for her dissertation focused on Master's level, board certified integrative health and wellness coaches working with patients, and how the patient's self-efficacy in their health-related goals was impacted due to this relationship. Additionally, she received her Master of Science in Integrative Health and Wellness with a certificate in Lifestyle Medicine and Health and Wellness Coaching and a Master of Science in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution and Higher Education. She is a 200-hour trained yoga teacher and trained Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory. Currently, Dr. Onorato's primary work focuses on college student academic success, with an overall focus on integrative health and wellness for college students and the relationship to academic success, in addition to maintaining an online teaching load.
