Kathy Harrison, Ed.D., MSN, RN became an adjunct faculty member in the Clarkson College Graduate Nursing program in 2017. She earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Mid-Plains Community College and her Associate’s degree in Nursing from Colby Community College. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Clarkson College. In 2017, she earned her Doctor in Healthcare Education and Leadership degree, also from Clarkson College.

Dr. Harrison currently serves as the Director of the Associate Degree Nurse and Practical Nurse programs at Mid-Plains Community College. Her experience includes serving as a supervisor and case manager in the hospital and home health settings. She is also a member of the American Nurses Association, Nebraska Nurses Association and Nebraska Assembly of Nursing Deans and Directors.

In 2020, Dr. Harrison earned the Western Regional Faculty Member Award from the Association of Community College Trustees. She also earned the Nebraska Community College Association Faculty Member Award in 2019.
