Kimberly Grimes has been an instructor in the Clarkson College Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Clarkson College since 2016. She holds an Assoicate's degree in PTA from Clarkson College, a Bachelor's degree in Management and Marketing from Park University and is currently pursuing her Master of Education degree from Concordia University.
Ms. Grimes is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Credentialed Clinical Istructor and a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner. Her clinical experience has been in inpatient acute, acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care and outpatient settings. At the College, she is active on the Wellness, Faculty Development and Bylaws committees.
When she is not working, Ms. Grimes enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and training for her next trail race.
I’ve always considered myself to live by the idea of being “patiently persistent”. As a former student, as a clinician, and in life in general, if you are patiently persistent in working toward your goals, you will achieve them. Maybe not on the first try, and maybe not in the timeframe you had hoped, but patient persistence hasn’t failed me yet!
