Luke Sieburg is an Associate Professor in the General Education department, and he joined Clarkson College as a faculty member in 2012. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Teaching Certificate in Natural Science. He also holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  

Mr. Sieburg has been the Science Lab Coordinator at the College since 2016. He also has held multiple committee memberships at the College including serving as Vice Secretary and Treasurer of the Faculty Senate and as Chair of the Institutional Review Board (IRB), and as a member of the Wellness, Bylaws and IRB committees. He works closely with outreach activities for the College and serves as a guest speaker for elementary, middle school and high school students in the Omaha community.  

Outside the College, Mr. Sieburg enjoys serving as a volunteer judge for local and national science fairs.
