Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Dr. Lorimor began teaching at Clarkson College in 2017. She holds a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Phoenix as well as a doctoral degree from the University of Science and Technology. She teaches courses in Entrepreneurship, DNP scholarly projects, and clinical decision-making for nurse practitioners.  

In addition to teaching at Clarkson College, Dr. Lorimor is an adjunct faculty member at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. She owns and operates the Wellcare Family Clinic in Oklahoma while working as a nurse practitioner at Choice Hospice.

Dr. Lorimor resides in Yukon, Oklahoma.
