Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Michael Matukewicz, J.D. has been an instructor in the Administration and Management program since 2001. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a law degree from Creighton University School of Law.

Along with teaching, Mr. Matukewicz is a managing partner and attorney at Liakos & Matukewicz LLC in Omaha, Neb. He is a member of the American, Nebraska, Colorado and Omaha Bar Associations as well as the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. In 2018, he was inducted into the Nebraska State Bar Foundation Fellows.

In the community, Mr. Matukewicz is a member of the Knights of Columbus and has served as a trustee at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Mr. Matukewicz lives in Omaha with his wife and two children.
