Nathan Wiegand

Vice President of College Finance

Nathan Wiegand joined Clarkson College as the Vice President of College Finance/CFO in 2025. In this role, he oversees the College's financial functions including the development and implementation of the financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve Clarkson College assets and provide and report accurate financial results. Prior to joining Clarkson College, Mr. Wiegand worked as a Director of Finance and the Corporate Controller at The Scoular Company based in Omaha and at KPMG in Denver. He holds an active CPA license (in Colorado) and is a member of the Nebraska Society of CPAs.

Mr. Wiegand is passionate for the power of education to unlock each and every student's full potential and to further Clarkson's College's vision to be a trusted, leading, and preferred healthcare educator.

Outside of the college, Mr. Wiegand enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 year-old daughter, and 7 month-old son going on walks, reading books, and building magna tile creations. His hobbies include tennis, running, fly fishing, mountain biking, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Education & Professional Experience

Mr. Wiegand earned his undergraduate degree in business administration-accounting emphasis at the University of Nebraska Kearney and his master's degree in accounting with a financial reporting/assurance emphasis from the University of Notre Dame.
