Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Robyn Hansen, CPA

In her role as Vice President of College Finance/CFO, Robyn Hansen is responsible for leadership, vision, and integrity for the College’s financial functions including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance, investments, grants, and contracts administration. She assumed this role in July 2023, transitioning after over a year as Controller at the College.

Prior to joining Clarkson College, Ms. Hansen’s 30+ year career included roles as CFO, Director of Accounting, Operations, and Controller. In the corporate sector, she worked in distribution, fine jewelry, and manufacturing industries. She also worked in the nonprofit area supporting children, elderly adults, and individuals with disabilities through education, childcare, and support services.

Ms. Hansen served several years volunteering for TeamMates Mentoring, her church, and Grief’s Journey where she served on the board of directors, as treasurer, and as chairperson of the finance team. She has also donated her expertise to assist nonprofits with their accounting and tax needs for over ten years.

Ms. Hansen completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and maintains an active Nebraska CPA license. Ms. Hansen lives in Omaha with her husband and enjoys exercise, outdoor activities, travel, and reading in her spare time.
