Sharon Eden is currently an Associate Professor of Microbiology, Epidemiology, and Environmental Risk Factors and Disease at Clarkson College and has been a member of the faculty since 2016. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Ms. Eden began her career in microbiology as a biomedical research laboratory supervisor for the VA Medical Center, Section of Infectious Diseases before turning to education full-time. During her twenty years of full-time education at the University and College levels, she has taught and developed courses in biology, microbiology, biotechnology and epidemiology.
Ms. Eden has served as a medical microbiology and immunology mentor for Creighton University distance pharmacy students since 2001. She also served as an Assistant Coordinator for the Hope Medical Outreach Coalition in Omaha.
