Shelli Weddum is the Director of the Radiography and Medical Imaging programs. She received a certificate in Radiologic Technology from Jennie Edmundson School of Radiologic Technology in 1993, a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging from Clarkson College in 2005 and a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Clarkson College in 2011.
Ms. Weddum’s teaching career began at Clarkson College in 2002 as an adjunct faculty member. Her roles developed into a full-time faculty member, Clinical Coordinator, Assistant Director and her current position as Director. She has been a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) since 1999, the Nebraska Society of Radiologic Technologists (NSRT) since 2002 and is currently a member of the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences (AEIRS).
Ms. Weddum has held several positions within NSRT including a member of the Board of Directors, Nominations Chair, President, Chairman of the Board and Advisory Board member. She also served as a representative from Nebraska for two years at the ASRT House of Delegates and Annual Conference.
As a participant of the TeamMates program, Ms. Weddum works to develop mentor/mentee relationships with students. She enjoys walking, hiking, listening to self-help and motivational podcasts, reading, and getting the family together for a traditional dinner as often as possible. She cherishes her time with her two grown boys and husband and traveling whenever possible.
