Dr. Siti Arshad-Snyder joined Clarkson College in 2008 and has served as a faculty member of the Healthcare Business program since that time. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as her Master’s degree in Computer Systems Management, both from Creighton University. In 2017, she also earned her doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership, also from Creighton University.
Dr. Arshad-Snyder has been actively involved throughout her time at the College as a member of the Faculty Senate, Higher Learning Commission re-accreditation committee, interprofessional education research and implementation team, and mentoring program. Her research interests include student retention, health care education, health care information systems, online education, social responsibility education and interprofessional education.
She has been a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) since 2017 and a member of the Sigma Alpha Pi National Society of Leadership and Success since 2012. Dr. Arshad-Snyder is a two-time co-recipient of the Dr. Patricia Book Perry Academic Project Award—in 2017 for her work on the Interprofessional Education Project and in 2012 for the Gap Analysis of the Healthcare Business Curricula.
