Dr. Siti Arshad-Snyder has been a Professor in the Healthcare Business department at Clarkson College since 2008. With nearly two decades of experience in higher education and professional expertise in healthcare business, she brings a strong interdisciplinary background in business administration, finance, information systems management, and leadership. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in computer applications, data management, healthcare informatics, financial management, and leadership. Additionally, she serves as Capstone advisor and coordinator for the Master of Healthcare Administration program and as a dissertation committee member for doctoral candidates.
An active member of the Clarkson College community, Dr. Arshad-Snyder serves on the Faculty Senate and institutional committees, including Interprofessional Education, ad hoc groups, task forces, and Critical Success Factor committees. Her dedication to teaching and scholarship has been recognized with the Teaching Excellence Award and three Dr. Patricia Book Perry Scholarly Project Awards. She has also received the Wide River TEC EHR Curriculum Development Award twice for integrating electronic health records (EHR) into coursework.
Outside the classroom, she contributes to academia through a published textbook chapter, journal article, and presentations on interprofessional education and teaching strategies. She also serves as a judge for national academic competitions, a peer-reviewed journal manuscript reviewer, and a conference proposal reviewer.
In addition to her academic work, Dr. Arshad-Snyder volunteers in various community projects, including refugee support, food donation drives, and meal provision for those in need.
