William Montgomery is currently an Associate Professor in the General Education program at Clarkson College. He came to the College in 2008 when he joined the community as a Registrar Representative before becoming a faculty member in 2011. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in History from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Higher Education from Concordia University.

Mr. Montgomery has helped design core courses in the General Education program and serves as the course coordinator for the EA undergraduate core courses. He has served as the President of the Faculty Senate at the College and remains active on several Critical Success Factor (CSF) committees. In 2018, he earned the Patricia Book Perry Faculty of the Year Award.

Mr. Montgomery has been a member of the American Historical Association as well as the American Association for the History of Medicine since 2016.
