As Vice President of Community Programming and Innovation, Candie Jones provides executive leadership to interprofessional simulation, academic travel abroad and mission, as well as people and culture development strategies. To support the needs of all consumers and the College, she leads professional development, community programming courses, and continuing education. Ms. Jones joined Clarkson College in 2020 as the Director of Professional Development and assumed her current role in 2023.
Ms. Jones has over 30 years of nursing experience, serving the majority of that time at Nebraska Medicine as bedside nurse, lead nurse, nurse educator, and nurse manager in the fields of adult critical care and neuroscience intensive care. She has been a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) for over 15 years, and is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a master's degree in nursing from Clarkson College.
