As Vice President of Community Programming and Innovation, Candie Jones provides executive leadership to Innovation Strategies department which include 3D Printing and Training Center and the Interprofessional Simulation Center. In addition, academic travel abroad and mission, service as well as people and culture development strategies. To support the needs of all consumers and the College, she oversees professional development, community programming courses, and continuing education. Ms. Jones joined Clarkson College in 2020 as the Director of Professional Development and assumed her current role in 2023.
Ms. Jones has over 30 years of experience in nursing. 28 years of her career was at Nebraska Medicine serving in various nursing roles from bedside nurse, lead nurse, nurse educator, and nurse manager specifically in the fields of adult critical care and neuroscience intensive care. She has been a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) for over 15 years and a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
