Casey Frost, Ph.D., MSN, BSN has been an instructor in the Graduate Nursing program since 2021. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Methodist School of Nursing and her doctoral degree in Nursing Education from the University of Northern Colorado.

Dr. Frost spent 10 years in the pediatric ICU and became a nursing clinical educator in 2012. She has worked with students in a variety of clinical locations including pediatrics, medical surgical, oncology, emergency department, intensive care unit, long term care and hospice care. She has also taught undergraduate nursing education, in class and clinical since 2012.   

Words of Wisdom

Always remember what drew you to health care and maintain that passion. Schooling can be difficult but providing compassionate care for others is truly a rewarding career. If you maintain your passion and compassion for others, you will always have a fulfilling and joyful career, no matter what you do in health care.
