Greta Schoneman has been an Instructor in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program since 2018. She earned her Associate’s degree in PTA from Riverland Community College and continued her education by earning her Bachelor’s degree in PTA from Pima Medical Institute in Tucson, Arizona. SHe is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Sports and Health Science from American Public University.  

Her clinical background covers a wide range of settings including long-term care facilities, inpatient and outpatient clinics, elementary and middle school settings, and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). Ms. Schoneman is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor and certified therapist in lymphedema treatments through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. She also has several certifications in Parkinson’s disease treatments including Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) BIG, Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR!) and Rock Steady Boxing. 

Along with being a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Nebraska Physical Therapy Association (NPTA), Ms. Schoneman is active on campus. She serves as a mentor for Clarkson College students and as a member of numerous committees including the Faculty Senate and Student Support Team.

Make every day count. When teaching students in the class or treating patients out in the field, I strive to do my best for the those that I am serving to achieve their best outcomes towards their goals!
