Our Basic Life Support, Medication and Nurse Aide courses can help individuals getting certified for the first time or needing renewal. Leanne Galvan, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, has been an adjunct faculty member at Clarkson College since 2020. She holds bachelor’s degrees in recreation, leisure studies, and nursing and obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Nebraska Methodist College.

Dr. Galvan currently works as a Nurse Practitioner at an independently owned clinic in Omaha, where she treats patients with acute and chronic conditions.

Dr. Galvan’s research covers topics including “Reducing Barriers to Early and Progressive Mobility in the Mechanically Ventilated Patient,” and she is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
