Madelyn Flowers began her career in healthcare in 2016 as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Creighton University Medical Center. Motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Clarkson College and graduated in December 2019. One of her five-year goals upon entering the nursing profession was to become a nursing instructor—an achievement she is proud to have reached.
After earning a Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2023, there was no question about where Madelyn wanted to teach. She states: "As a student, I valued my experience at Clarkson College, where small class sizes fostered strong peer connections, and faculty members demonstrated a deep commitment to student success—an influence that continues to shape my own approach to education."
Today, she is honored to serve on the Clarkson College faculty, helping to guide the next generation of nurses. Her passion lies in preparing students for a rewarding and dynamic profession, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.
