Renee Ruhkamp, Ed.D., MSN, RN, CNE, has been a faculty member at Clarkson College since 2005. She earned her Associate’s degree in Nursing from Western Iowa Tech Community College, her Bachelor’s degree from Briar Cliff University, and her Master’s degree from Clarkson College. In 2015, she earned her Doctor of Education degree from College of Saint Mary.
At Clarkson College, Dr. Ruhkamp has served as President of Omicron Epsilon, the College’s chapter of Sigma, the national honor society for nursing, and is one of the advisors for the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). She currently serves as a member of the Student Support Team and is a past President of Faculty Senate. She has served on the Higher Learning Commission re-accreditation committee, Interprofessional Education committee, and the Academic Integrity Education committee. She is a member of the Nebraska League for Nursing and National League for Nursing.
In addition to teaching at Clarkson College, Dr. Ruhkamp serves as a clinic nurse at a CHI Priority Care Clinic.
