Tricia De Boer, DNP, MSN-Ed, RN, CNE, has been an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Nursing Program since 2021. Current interest include evidence-based practice, leadership, healthcare business, and online teaching modalities. She instructs within the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Doctor of Education (EdD) programs.

Much of Dr. De Boer’s clinical experience is in emergency room and critical access care. She practiced in undergraduate nursing education as a course and clinical instructor prior to transitioning to graduate level education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from South Dakota State University. She earned her master’s degree in nursing education from Briar Cliff University and her doctoral degree in nursing education leadership from American Sentinel University.

Dr. DeBoer lives in Orange City, Iowa.
